International Legal Conference in Paris
Paris, France 31.10.2007 - 04.11.2007The annual conference of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) was held in 2007 in Paris, France. Attorney Levinson was invited to lecture on a session that dealt with commercial law. The Lecture discussed the implications of environmental law on mergers and acquisitions. In his lecture he gave an overview on other legal issues, which on first sight are unrelated to environmental issues, but they have significant legal importance on the business conduct. As an example, a case was described when workers' strike in a factory that stores hazardous materials, and how the issue, relating to the field of labor relations reflects on significant environmental issues.
