Environmental Policy and Standardization
The Israel Standard Institute 19.05.2005Changes vibrate the environmental systems in Israel as part of the global village. The purpose of the seminar, organized by the Israel Standards Institute, was to summarize the International Quality Week held in Israel, uncover trends, changes and directions in the areas of environmental standards in the world. At the seminar spoke the Israeli environment Minister, members of Knesset parliament and Israel's environmental policy makers. Attorney Tzvi Levinson gave a lecture on contemporary trends in environmental regulations and the relationship between the primary and secondary legislation and environmental standards, promulgated by standards institutes.
