The New Israeli Clean Air Law - New League of Clean Air Protection

The Israeli Clean Air Act Law- 2008 is a revolutionary law. Aims not only to include protection for humans, but also introduced advanced objectives of protecting ecosystems and biodiversity. Goals also include advanced principles drawn from international environmental law, as the precautionary principle and principle of sustainable development. It has legal mechanisms that allow operations in the areas of civil law - tort claims, administrative law - emission permits and  administrative fines,  criminal law - charges against corporations, executives and directors. The law abolished in part the Abatement of Nuisances Law, - 1961, however, parts of it dealing with odor and noise remain valid.
